Apolaustic was formed by the former Stortregn vocalist/guitarist Romain Negro as an outlet for him to express his personal vision. At once scathing and stirring, the sharp, insistent riffs go hand in hand with elegant melodies that never outstay their welcome. The aggression and poignancy is beautifully managed with plenty of variations provided to highlight those emotions at the right times.
