They show that the dissonant death metal style doesn't necessarily have to be complicated or inscrutable. You can listen to a new song now. Band's statement - "We didn’t plan to start a new band with Carbon Tomb. Actually, some of us fought it. But it spawned itself from the cadaver of our former group. A newborn necromorph disproving that growth can’t come from pessimism. Encapsulated in this swollen mass we sensed some form of resonance from the unwashed building stock of northern Copenhagen. And we found ourselves within Carbon Tomb. It is with great gratitude that we have signed with Transcending Obscurity Records. This is a legit label with a long list of releases with integrity. Releases that echoes the horrors of other worlds. And makes the suffering of this world somewhat more bearable.  It is with disbelief that we now release our “Passage to a Neutron Star” through Transcending Obscurity Records.  We are honoured and thankful of the recognition from the label. Against the backdrop of harrowing, plaintive music are the hollow echoes of an aggrieved, possessed-sounding woman, adding more malice to the music than anything possibly contrived. Over here is something dark, unseemly, insidious if only by being so naturally real and relatable. The intriguing doom-laden black metal music throbs and twists with a firm grip of the atmosphere pressing down on the listener like a hand to the throat. Muerto's disarmingly direct delivery, masterful juggling of various emotions in an aura of suffocating darkness, and their refreshing rawness in a time of overly processed music make them a band worthy of your attention. It took them five years to come up with a follow up album and the progress on it is simply staggering. The music seems to have taken an ethereal form, soaring above and raining down thundering riffs followed by shards of piercing melodies. The alternating showers ensure the music doesn't overwhelm with either blasting or mellow parts, maintaining an elegant balance that keeps you trapped in a dreamlike state throughout its duration. "Agnomysticism" is a highly accomplished album, virtually flawless in all ways, that takes the sound of the band forward and elevates it beyond the ordinary.
