Their blackened tech death metal is intense yet epic; the music furiously builds up momentum in their songs to invariably culminate in dramatic fashion. This is a recurring motif, balancing pummelling music and technical wizardry with atmospheric and catchy hooks. Fresh from his stint in Unaligned, Andrew spews fire and enunciates with more malice and passion than most vocalists in the style. It adds menace to music that is already throbbing with raw, unbridled energy. “A Vile Disfigurement” nails the sound and delivers tech death metal that is both infectious and invigorating.
