This is a high quality pullover hoodie for which we’re using specially made extra thick and soft cotton that is furthermore pre-washed to avoid any shrinking issues. It comes with two front pockets too. There are prints on both the sleeves, one on the front of the band logo, and of course the fitting artwork by Alex Shadrin on the back.

As our label grows older, the music it represents seems to get more and more challenging. Most of the bands on this latest sampler are trying to push the sound in their own way or expand upon their established sound and it’s what makes the most sense. It’s the logical evolution for this form of music and it’s what sounds most stimulating to the relevant pair of jaded ears. There’s still a decent balance of different genres and the emotive value that some of them bring in has been appreciated too. While it cannot possibly cover the scope of the entire roster, it’s the most accurate reflection of the label’s taste still, even if it involves more obscure bands than before. But then again, a label with the name of Transcending Obscurity is probably better equipped to help them rise.
As before, the proceeds from this label sampler and any Transcending Obscurity merch go towards the upkeep of the 35+ stray cats and dogs which reside within the Transcending Obscurity premises.
