Over here is something dark, unseemly, insidious if only by being so naturally real and relatable. The intriguing doom-laden black metal music throbs and twists with a firm grip of the atmosphere pressing down on the listener like a hand to the throat. Muerto’s disarmingly direct delivery, masterful juggling of various emotions in an aura of suffocating darkness, and their refreshing rawness in a time of overly processed music make them a band worthy of your attention.
