Stench Price is an ambitious project involving members of Brutal Truth, Necrophagist, Cynic, Hail of Bullets, Paganizer, Putrevore, etc. The music is avant-garde grind – vicious but laced with offbeat bossa/samba and lounge music. Each song has a different character to it but it’s all in the same spirit. For those who’re looking for a change from the repetitive kind of grindcore, this is it.
Transcending Obscurity owner Kunal Choksi comments, “I’m huge into grindcore and I’m thrilled to find a worthy grind band for the international label. Masterminded by unconventional Siberian metal eccentric Peter G. Shallmin (Escapethecult, Kamlath), Stench Price is an exceptionally original musical project that combines death metal/grind with bossa/samba and lounge music touches.
